A delegation of CII Young Indians (Yi) from across Andhra Pradesh met Minister for IT&HRD Nara Lokesh at his residence on Wednesday. They apprised Mr. Lokesh of the Yi chapters’ nation-building initiatives related to youth empowerment, educational institutions, entrepreneurs and rural communities aimed at fostering innovation, leadership and inclusive growth.
The Yi congratulated Mr. Lokesh on successfully bringing Google’s 1 – GW data centre project to ‘Visakhapatnam, calling it a major milestone that underscores Andhra Pradesh’s growing prominence as a global technology and investment hub.
They invited Mr. Lokesh to deliver a keynote address at the Yi Annual National Conference scheduled to be held in New Delhi on December 19 and 20.
Yi Amaravati chapter chairman K. Hari Krishna, co-chairman Chittineni Bala Krishna, Tirupati chapter chairperson Varsha V. Kasthuri and co-chairman D. Nitin and others were present.
