Chief Minister Rekha Gupta heard the grievances of people in a ‘jan sunwayi (public hearing)’ programme at her camp office on Raj Niwas Marg on Wednesday. She directed officials to act on every complaint with “sensitivity and urgency” so that citizens receive their rights and access to public services in a timely manner.
The CM stated that ensuring the timely resolution of public issues is the government’s top priority, and public dialogue is the essence of good governance.
She said that the Delhi government is committed to bridging the gap between the administration and the public, making governance more transparent and accountable through “active public participation”.
