Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for a series of development works worth ₹103 crore in the Kodangal constituency, which he represents, on Monday.

Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister visited the Hare Krishna Mission Breakfast Kitchen Shed, a centralised community kitchen located at the Kodangal Market Yard, where he inspected its functioning and interacted with staff. The kitchen serves breakfast to 28,000 students daily in 3,211 government schools.

The Chief Minister unveiled a wide range of civic, educational and infrastructure projects, including 28 Anganwadi buildings being built at ₹5.83 crore, 23 additional classrooms in government schools being built with ₹5.01 crore and 10 Gram Panchayat buildings being constructed at ₹3 crore.

Road widening works in Kodangal town, a major project worth ₹60 crore, Prohibition & Excise Station in Kodangal, Fire Station building, swimming pool facility, Community halls, kitchen sheds and compound walls, CC roads and underground drainage systems (UGDs) and Guest House construction, development works at Kosgi Agriculture Market are the other works.
