Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to strictly adhere to quality standards in the ongoing development works in Medaram in Mulugu district.
At a review meeting on the development works in Medaram, where the Samakka Saralamma tribal fair will be held next year on Monday (December 1, 2025), Mr. Reddy wanted the officials and engineers to stay put on-site to directly supervise the progress and warned that any lapses would be viewed seriously.
The Chief Minister gave elaborate directions covering stone works, road construction, installation of electric poles, pathways for devotees, and waiting areas. He viewed a PowerPoint presentation on the progress and highlighted precautions to be taken in several areas.
The Chief Minister wanted the personnel from Roads & Buildings, electricity, endowments, and rorest departments, along with architect Sivanagireddy to work in close coordination. He underlined the importance of giving prominence to tribal culture, traditions, and rituals in all development activities. The Chief Minister reiterated that the works must be completed within the prescribed time frame.
The review meeting was attended by Endowments Minister Konda Surekha, Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, SC Development and Tribal Welfare Minister Adluri Lakshman Kumar, CM’s Advisor Vem Narender Reddy, Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, Principal Secretary to CM K.S. Srinivas Raju, Finance Secretary Sandeep Kumar Sultania, Endowments Commissioner Harish, R&B ENC Mohan Nayak, and other senior officials.
