
Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, who arrived in Erode district for a two-day visit on Tuesday, was accorded a warm reception at Perundurai.

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin will inaugurate completed projects, lay foundation stones for new ones, and distribute welfare assistance at a function in Solar on Wednesday (November 26, 2025).
Mr. Stalin arrived in Erode by road from Coimbatore on Tuesday evening and was given a warm reception at Vijayamangalam and Perundurai by party functionaries and the public. He later reached Kalingarayan Illam on Perundurai Road, where security has been tightened.
At 10 a.m. on Wednesday, he will inaugurate a memorial hall featuring the statue of freedom fighter Maaveeran Pollan at Jayaramapuram in Modakkurichi taluk. He will then proceed to Odanilai to pay floral tributes at the memorial of freedom fighter Theeran Chinnamalai.
At 11 a.m., near the newly established satellite bus terminal at Solar on Karur Road, the Chief Minister will inaugurate completed works worth ₹252.73 crore, lay foundation stones for new projects worth ₹91.09 crore, and distribute welfare assistance to 1,84,491 beneficiaries worth ₹278.62 crore. He will then return to Kalingarayan Illam.
At 5.30 p.m., Mr. Stalin will visit the Erode District Co-operative Milk Producers Union Limited (Aavin) plant in Chithode to unveil the statue of C.K. Paramasivam, credited with pioneering efforts behind the State’s White Revolution. At 6 p.m., he will attend a wedding reception of a party functionary in Chithode, leave for Coimbatore airport at 6.30 p.m., and board a flight to Chennai at 8.30 p.m.
Police personnel from across Erode and neighbouring districts have been deployed for security, traffic regulation, and crowd management at all venues.
