Cold conditions persist as 10 districts record temperatures below 10°C

Many parts of Telangana continued to witness single-digit minimum temperatures between November 19 and 20 morning, with data from the Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS) showing that 10 districts fell below 10°C during the 24-hour period.

Kohir in Sangareddy district recorded the lowest minimum temperature at 7.4°C. This was followed by 8°C in Sirpur (Kumaram Bheem Asifabad), 8.5°C in Mominpet (Vikarabad), 8.7°C in Narsapur (Medak), 8.9°C in Bibipet (Kamareddy), 9°C in Ibrahimpatnam (Rangareddy), 9.1°C in Sonala (Adilabad), 9.2°C in Akbarpet (Siddipet), 9.4°C in Rudrangi (Rajanna Sircilla) and 9.8°C in Saloora (Nizamabad).

The remaining 23 districts reported minimum temperatures between 10°C and 15°C. In urban pockets, Ghatkesar in Medchal Malkajgiri recorded 10.8°C, and Maredpally in Hyderabad recorded 11.8°C.
