Temperatures dip across the city in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday.

After a brief lull, temperatures in many parts of the Agency areas in Alluri Sitharama Raju district have seen a dip once again. On Thursday morning temperatures touched single digits again.
As per the data from the authorities, Dalapatiguda, a hamlet near Araku Valley recorded the least temperature in the State at 8.5°Celsius. The second least temperature was recorded at G. Madugula at 9.3° Celsius, followed by Kilagada in Munchingputtu at 9.5°Celsius.
Similarly, Pedabayalu recorded 10.3°Celsius, while Araku Valley recorded 10.5°Celsius —up from November 26, when temperatures had dipped to 8°Celsius.
Hukumpeta, another tribal saw temperatures dip to 10.6°Celsius, Munchingputtu at 11.2° Celsius and Chintapalli at 12.6°Celsius. Similarly, the temperature in Ananthagiri was 13.3°Celsius and in Lambasingi one of major tourist hotspot near Chintapalli saw temperatures reach 14.4°Celsius.
It may be noted that for the past one week, minimum temperatures in the Agency areas were hovering between 15°Celsius to 19° Celsius.
