District Collector K. Vetriselvi, along with Unguturu MLA P. Dharma Raju and APCOB Chairman Ganni Veeranjaneyulu, reviewed the arrangements for Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s upcoming tour of Unguturu mandal, on Tuesday.
The Collector, accompanied by officials, inspected several locations across Unguturu, Kaikaram, Narayanapuram and Chebrolu villages to identify suitable venues for the Chief Minister’s programmes. Mr. Naidu is scheduled to visit Unguturu mandal on December 1, where he is set to participate in the distribution of social security pensions and address a public meeting. He is also likely to launch and review various welfare and development initiatives during the visit.
As part of the preparatory exercise, the team examined potential sites to set up a helipad, besides identifying locations suitable for the public meeting, pension distribution, and other official programmes. Areas near Gollagudem were assessed for the helipad, a public gathering, and meetings with party workers. The Collector also inspected locations in Chebrolu and Gopinathapatnam to finalise venues for the pension distribution programme.
Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) Coordinator Raghu and officials from various departments joined the review. Joint Collector Abhishek Gowda, Eluru RDO Achyuth Ambarish, DRDA PD Vijaya Raju, and Tahsildar Poornaprasad were among those present.
