Collector orders attachment of assets of investment firm in Kozhikode

District Collector Snehil Kumar Singh has ordered the attachment of all movable and immovable properties of Kozhikode-based Rone Infotrade Private Limited following complaints of a major investment fraud. The tahsildars concerned were asked to initiate immediate steps under the Banning of Unregulated Deposit Schemes Act, 2019. An order was also issued on Wednesday to the Regional Transport Officer to prepare a list of vehicles registered in the name of the institution owners and hand over the impounded vehicles to the police. As part of the legal action, the bank accounts of the company would also be frozen with immediate effect.
