VIZIANAGARAM:
The All India Congress Committee observer Ravindra Das (Tamil Nadu) on Monday said that the Congress Party high command has placed special focus on Andhra Pradesh to strengthen the party at grassroot level through its ‘Sanghatan Srijan Abhiyan’ programme while exuding confidence that all the leaders who had left the party would come back to the party fold within no time. Along with Vizianagaram District Congress Committee president Maripi Vidyasagar, he reviewed the party activities in the district in a meeting organised in Vizianagaram.
Addressing party leaders and activists, Mr. Ravindra Das asked them to focus on peoples’ issues and highlight the development that had taken place during the Congress regime. He hoped that the Congress party would win back its glory soon as people were fed up with the NDA alliance parties and YSRCP in the State. The party’s State former general secretary Boddu Srinu, State general secretary G.V.Trinatha, the former DCC president Saragada Ramesh Kumar, former city president Sunkari Satish Kumar and others were present at the meet.
