Kerala State Commission for Economically Backward Classes among Forward Communities chairperson C.N. Ramachandran Nair inaugurating the Constitution Day celebrations at Kerala University on Wednesday

Former Kerala High Court judge C.N. Ramachandran Nair inaugurated the Constitution Day celebrations organised by the Department of Law and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Chair at Kerala University on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Nair, who presently serves as the chairperson of the Kerala State Commission for Economically Backward Classes among Forward Communities, said the country faces no threat to Constitution and secularism. He added that the Indian Constitution has survived all threats and have retained all qualities envisaged by its founders.

G.B. Reddy, Vice Chancellor, National University of Advanced Legal Studies, who inaugurated a two-day national seminar on Constituent Assembly Debates, said the basic values and principles of Constitution remain unchanged despite numerous amendments.

Kerala Administrative Tribunal Registrar S. Unnikrishnan Nair presided over the programme. Sindhu Thulaseedharan, Honorary Director, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Chair, and Hashim Kabeer, Assistant Professor, Department of Law, also spoke on the occasion.
