PARVATIPURAM:
Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLA Bonela Vijaya Chandra on Thursday praised the effective disaster management measures taken by the Chandrababu Naidu-led government, which he said minimised the damage caused by Cyclone Montha.
He distributed essential commodities to villagers of Vantaram and Nukalavada villages of Balajipeta mandal which was one of the badly affected areas. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the people were happy with the government’ efforts during the last five days in the State. “Fortunately, there were no human casualties as the people from low-lying areas were shifted to safe places as part of the government’s precautionary measures.”
He lauded the officials of the Parvatipuram-Manyam district for perfectly implementing the government’ instructions. “The opposition is unable to find fault in the relief operations as Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu efficiently readied the administration to respond swiftly,” said Mr.Vijaya Chandra.
