The government said that Pedagantyada mandal in the district recorded the highest rainfall (72.2mm) till 5 p.m. on Monday (October 27, 2025), since the onset of cyclone Montha, followed by Gajuwaka and its surrounding areas which recorded 62.8 mm of rainfall.

Except for Padmanabham mandal, almost all the other 10 mandals recorded more than 40 mm of rainfall during the period. According to official information from the I&PR Department on Monday evening, in total, the district has received 574.5 mm of rainfall and the average rainfall till 5 p.m. was 52.2 mm.
