Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Tuesday (November 11, 2025) expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives in the car explosion near Red Fort in New Delhi on Monday night (November 10) and said that it was an unfortunate incident.

Addressing a gathering at a public meeting after inaugurating the pilot project of a renovated water tank at Vengalayapalem village near Guntur in Andhra Pradesh, he said that because of the blast and death toll, they decided to keep the public event simple. He hoped that the injured would recover and added that the truth would come out after investigation, which is in progress.

Union Minister of State for Rural Development Dr. Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar expressed deep shock over the blast and extended heartfelt condolences to the victims in the incident. 

The leaders observed two-minute silence before the commencement of the event to pay respects to blast victims.
