The Della Group has unveiled plans to develop a 600-acre international spiritual township near Tirupati airport, aiming to showcase 5,000 years of Hindu cultural heritage on a global stage.
Branded Vasudhaika Kutumbam, the private project seeks to position Tirupati as a world-class tourism hub with a blend of spirituality, culture, hospitality, wellness and high-end real estate.
Della Group founder Jimmy Mistry and others met Revenue, Registration and Stamps Minister and Tirupati district in-charge Anagani Satya Prasad at the Secretariat in Amaravati on Thursday and presented the project concept.
They sought the support of the government for timely permissions and facilitation, noting that the private developer already owns the 600 acres required for the project.
The proposed township will house the world’s first exhibition dedicated to Hinduism, along with spiritual and cultural centres, medical wellness facilities, adventure parks, leadership development programmes and premium residential spaces. The project is expected to generate assets worth nearly ₹3,000 crore, the company said.
Responding to the proposal, Mr. Satya Prasad said the government is committed to promoting spiritual tourism and recognised that such initiatives would further benefit Tirupati, which already attracts devotees from across the world.
He assured that necessary approvals would be expedited as per regulations and promised to discuss the project with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
