Diplomatic delegation from Asian countries to tour Buddhavanam

In an effort to promote tourism in Telangana, the State government is organising a visit by diplomats from various Asian countries to Buddhavanam, the prestigious Buddhist heritage theme park at Nagarjunasagar. The diplomatic delegation will experience the life and teachings of Gautam Buddha at the site during their visit to Hyderabad for the Telangana Rising Summit-2047, scheduled to be held from December 8 to 9.

The delegation includes Muzafar Shah Bin Mustafa, High Commissioner of Malaysia, Shankar Prasad, Ambassador of Nepal, Rath Many, Ambassador of Cambodia, Vestop Namgyal, Ambassador of Bhutan, Nguyen Thanh, Ambassador of Vietnam, Chavanart Thangsumphant, Ambassador of Thailand, Mahishini Colonne, High Commissioner of Sri Lanka, and Lim Sang Woo, Chargé d’Affaires of South Korea.

As part of a larger strategy to attract Buddhist pilgrims and international tourists, the tour will offer the delegates an opportunity to experience Telangana’s spiritual and historical legacy.
