District Collector M.N. Harendhira Prasad on Saturday (November 8) ordered the officials to expedite the road development being undertaken in the city as the CII Partnership Summit will be held next week.
He inspected the road work being undertaken from Convent Junction to INS Dega and Port Dock Area as part of the Sagarmala project on Saturday evening along with the officials of the GVMC and NH departments.
He told the officials that all the works should be completed before the summit begins and that there should be no compromise on quality. He advised the officials concerned to monitor the works regularly and take steps to ensure that they are completed in time.
He was accompanied by GVMC chief engineer Satyanarayana Raju.
