The national executive member of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) SC Morcha, Venkatesh Mourya, on Saturday (November 22, 2025), alleged that the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) government was betraying the members of Scheduled Castes (SC) community.
Mr. Mourya told reporters that the DMK government did not spend the funds allocated by the Union Government for SC community, and diverted them to other welfare schemes.
The VCK, which praises B.R. Ambedkar, is in alliance with the Congress that allegedly disrespects him. VCK leader Thol. Thirumavalavan has no right to speak about Dr. Ambedkar. If VCK truly respects Dr. Ambedkar, it should come out of the DMK alliance. In the upcoming Assembly elections, members of the SC community will not vote for the DMK and its alliance, Mr. Mourya added.
