The DMK government in Tamil Nadu is a “failure”, alleged Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) leader Anbumani Ramadoss on Sunday.
Speaking at the conclusion of his 108-day padayatra “To reclaim the rights of Tamil people” in Dharmapuri on Sunday, he said in the next 108 days, the DMK government should be unseated.
“The government has started resolving every issue highlighted in the yatra. This yatra has created an impact in the State,” he claimed.
According to him, for four generations people of Dharmapuri have been fighting for education, development, and employment. “Why is Chief Minister M.K. Stalin boycotting Dharmapuri district? Is he angry against Dharmapuri district as the people defeated DMK in all constituencies in the 2021 elections,” he asked .
Promising that long-pending schemes will be fulfilled after the PMK comes to power (as part of a coalition), Mr. Anbumani said a good administration should invest in water management schemes.
In his view, Mr. Stalin does not know about administration. “The DMK government is the worst government in the history of Tamil Nadu and people want to unseat it. The DMK government is following the Manu dharma, as Dalits got the last places in the DMK cabinet as per protocol,” he claimed .
He said that the PMK general secretary belonged to the Scheduled Caste. The DMK, he claimed, was an enemy of Scheduled Caste people. PMK released the list of what it has done for the welfare of SCs. “Whether DMK or other parties are able to list their works for Dalits. DMK is a betrayer of Dalit and the Vanniyar caste people,” he alleged.
Mr. Stalin, he said, is afraid to conduct a caste census. “DMK is doing caste politics. Not a single Vanniyar should vote for the DMK in the 2026 Assembly elections. Every day corruption charges against the DMK government are coming out,” Mr. Anbumani added.
