Nesamony Nagar police have registered a case against a doctor from a private hospital located in Punnai Nagar, for allegedly sexually harassing a trainee nurse.
According to police, the doctor has been identified as M. Radhakrishnan, 64. The 19-year-old complainant from Sivakasi has been undergoing training at the hospital for over eight months. On Saturday (November 8) morning, while the victim was attending to the mother of Mr. Radhakrishnan, at his home, it was reported during that time he allegedly sexually harassed her.
Following the incident, the victim’s relatives immediately rushed to the police station and lodged a complaint. Based on their report, a case has been registered and the police have launched a search for Radhakrishnan, who is currently evading arrest.
