The district administration has launched a special drive to collect filled-in SIR (Special Intensive Revision) enumeration forms through village offices. Help desks have been set up to clarify queries, with support from senior Revenue officials, booth-level officers (BLOs), and other assigned supervisors.
Revenue officials said the distribution of forms would be completed soon as over 99% of voters had already received them. They said all efforts were being made to cover 26.5 lakh voters in Kozhikode.
District Collector Snehil Kumar Singh said that over 70% of filled-in enumeration forms had been digitised with the support of BLOs. He added that 2,303 BLOs were associated with the process. Â
The distribution of enumeration forms began in Kozhikode district on November 4, with a target of collecting and digitising all forms by November 30. Officials said the target could be achieved with voter cooperation.
