Ease of Doing Business: Kerala retains best performer tag

Kerala retained its best performer tag in the Ease of Doing Business (Business Reforms Action Plan+ Reduction of Compliance Burden) rankings.

Industries Minister P. Rajeeve received an award in the ‘fast movers category’ from the Union Minister for Industry and Commerce Piyush Goyal on Tuesday.

Last year as well, Kerala had topped in two categories of business-centric reforms and seven categories of citizen-centric reforms in the ranking of the Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry. If 91% were reforms were carried out last year, the State could carry out 99.92% of reforms in the ease of doing business this year, Mr. Rajeeve said New Delhi on Tuesday.
