The East Coast Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation (ECoRWWO), Waltair Division, recently felicitated the wards of railway employees who demonstrated remarkable academic excellence and exceptional performance in various competitive examinations in the academic year 2024 and 2025.
A total of 340 deserving students received scholarships. The beneficiaries included high scorers in SSC and Intermediate examinations as well as rank holders in competitive exams such as IIT, Medical, and Engineering entrance tests. ECoRWWO (Waltair) president, Jyotsna Bohra, felicitated the young achievers for their outstanding accomplishments, at a function held at the Sagarmala Conventions, near Visakhapatnam Port Stadium. Awards were also given to winners of various competitions conducted by ECoRWWO, Waltair.
A cultural programme was also held. Vice president Gayatri Santharam, secretary Ankita Sharma, branch officers, members of ECoRWWO, staff, and proud parents attended the function.
