AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami, on Tuesday (November 25, 2025), reiterated his charge against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin of inaction on the issue of relaxation in moisture content for paddy, charging that the latter was late in pursuing the matter with the Union government.Â
Pointing out that only the government [Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation] had only been doing paddy procurement in the Cauvery delta, Mr. Palaniswami, in a statement, emphasised that it was the duty of the government to keep ready every aspect of infrastructure to facilitate the operation.
The AIADMK leader, who said the Chief Minister did not meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi to press the State’s case, wondered why no one was sent to New Delhi to meet the Union Minister concerned for securing the nod for relaxation. Â
