The Ernakulam revenue district school arts festival for the academic year 2025-26 will begin on Tuesday (November 25, 2025).
The festival will see the participation of over 8,000 students. Subin Paul, Deputy Director of Education, Ernakulam, will hoist the flag at St. Antony’s Higher Secondary School here on Wednesday (November 26, 2025) at 9 a.m. District Collector G. Priyanka will inaugurate the festival. The Collector will present an award to Binsil Biju Mathew, the student who created the logo of the festival, on the occasion.
Registration will begin at 2 p.m. on Monday (November 24, 2025). The venues include St. Albert’s Higher Secondary School, St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, St. Teresa’s Higher Secondary School, and Darul Uloom Vocational Higher Secondary School. The competitions will be held at 16 venues, and students will compete in over 300 categories. Along with the arts fest, a Sanskrit festival and an Arabic arts festival will also be held. Food will be provided to contestants, escorting teachers, volunteers, and others during the five-day event. The festival will be held in compliance with the green protocol.
