Experts from six countries arrive at AIIMS for global conference

Faculty experts from India and five other countries took part in the international conference titled ‘Image-Guided Cadaveric Hands-on Musculoskeletal Interventions’, which began at AIIMS in Mangalagiri, on Saturday.

The two-day programme, organised by the departments of Radiology and Anatomy, in collaboration with the Musculoskeletal Society of India (MSS) and Asian Pacific International Radiology and Intervention Association (APIRIA), was inaugurated by Executive Director Ahanthem Santa Singh in the presence of AIIMS professors and Asian Musculoskeletal Society members.

According to a press release from AIIMS, more than 100 delegates from across the world are participating in the conference, which featured live image-guided demonstrations, cadaveric hands-on training, and structured modules covering advanced musculoskeletal intervention techniques involving the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle, foot, and peripheral nerves. Renowned national and international faculty are delivering skill-oriented sessions.
