Female students in Salem are invited to register their names for the Asmita Athletics League before November 25.
In a release, the Salem district athletic association president, P. Vimalan, said that to discover young female athletes, Asmita Athletics League 2025-2026, organised by the association, will be held at St. Paul’s Higher Secondary School at Maravaneri on November 29. Interested female students shall register their names at sfw.kheloindia.gov.in or nsrs.kheloindia.gov.in or sdaa2016slm@gmail.com before November 25.
The event will be held under two categories: under 14 (born between December 21, 2011, and December 20, 2013) and under 16 (born between December 21, 2009, and December 20, 2011). Each athlete is allowed to participate in only one event and no entry fees is required for participation. For further details, contact 78100-22364 or 93621-01696. All results will be officially shared with Khelo India and the Athletics Federation of India (AFI) for talent identification, Mr. Vimalan added.
