Four Pardhi gang members held for thefts at PNBS

The Krishnalanka police on Thursday arrested four Pardhi gang members who stole from passengers at Pandit Nehru Bus Station (PNBS), in Vijayawada.

South Zone ACP D. Paavan Kumar said the accused, Bhavan Anand Bhosle, Manju Pawar Bhosle, Kavita Bhagwan Bhosle and Prasanth Rajendra Bhosle, all members of Pardhi gang and natives of Maharashtra, came to Vijayawada on November 22.

The gang committed thefts in PNBS. Based on CCTV footages, the police arrested the gang while they were moving suspiciously on Thursday, the ACP said. The accused have committed thefts in Odisha, Maharashtra and Rajasthan, Mr. Paavan Kumar said, adding that the police recovered jewellery worth nearly ₹5 lakh, and ₹44,000 cash from the gang.
