GHMC Standing Committee approves One Time Settlement scheme for property tax arrears

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation’s Standing Committee meeting on Wednesday has approved a total of 18 proposals, including one for multi-level parking at Khilwat, a plan that has been pending for more than a decade, and another for implementation of One Time Settlement (OTS) scheme for recovery of property tax arrears.

Permission was sought for Request For Proposal for multi-level parking, on Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer basis for 15 years, with a scope for five years’ extension, based on the performance.

A proposal for establishment of a 50-seat inbound call centre for effective grievance management, and upgrading of servers in the call centre, is one among the table items approved apart from the agenda items.

Proposals for road widening pertaining to flyovers near Owaisi Junction, Rasoolpura, AOC centre, Fatehbowli and Nanalnagar junctions have been approved by the committee, apart from ratification of the administrative sanction for repair and renovation works for Fatehnagar flyover.
