Government departments and organisations observed Constitution Day on Wednesday (November 26, 2025) to commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution.
Lieutenant Governor K. Kailashnathan administered the Constitution Day pledge to officers and staff of Raj Nivas.
Law Minister K. Lakshminarayanan led the reading of the preamble at a function hosted in his office by the Law Department.
At an event organised at the Chief Secretariat, Sharat Chauhan, Chief Secretary, administered the National Constitution Day pledge to officers and staff followed by a reading of the preamble in Tamil by A. Vikrant Raja, Industries Secretary.
At Jipmer, Vir Singh Negi, Director, led the collective reading of the preamble to the Constitution.
Hawasingh, Senior Administrative Officer read the preamble in Hindi; Lakshmi, Law Officer, in Tamil and S. Rangabashiam, Deputy Director (Administration), in English. Faculty members, staff, students across various departments of Jipmer joined the reading.
