Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi arrived in Kanniyakumari on Wednesday on a two-day visit.
Mr. Ravi flew from Chennai to Thoothukudi and then travelled by road to Kanniyakumari, reaching the government guest house, where he was received by Kanniyakumari Collector R. Alagumeena.
The Governor visited Viveknanda Kendra, where he was welcomed by the Kendra administration. Later, he visited Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Tiruvalluvar statue. Following that, he visited Bagavathi Amman Temple in Kanniyakumari around 7.30 p.m.
The Governor has scheduled his visit to Sthanumalayan Temple in Suchindram on Thursday morning.
