Governor Jishnu Dev Verma will inaugurate the Telangana Global Rising Summit-2025 on the afternoon of December 8, followed by a keynote address by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said.

Describing the summit as a landmark initiative to attract investments and secure Telangana’s economic future, the Deputy Chief Minister urged all stakeholders to cooperate for its success and assured that logistical challenges, including airline connectivity, will be addressed. Special flights will be arranged for key participants if necessary.

The Deputy Chief Minnister announced that 154 delegates from 44 countries across six continents have confirmed their attendance at the summit, including 46 representatives from the United States. Invitations have been extended to all political parties in the State, with officials personally delivering them.

Addressing a press conference along with Minister for Industries and IT D. Sridhar Babu at Praja Bhavan here on Saturday, Mr. Bhatti Vikramarka said the Telangana government will host the summit on December 8 and 9 at the site of Bharat Future City. He emphasized that the event is a purely economic summit aimed at charting a roadmap for achieving a $3 trillion economy for Telangana by 2047.

The Telangana Rising Vision 2047 document will be released on the second day of the event, Mr. Vikramarka said, adding that the entire State Cabinet collaborated to draft the vision document and expressed satisfaction over hosting the event. He added that globally renowned economists and thought leaders are scheduled to participate in the summit.

On the inaugural day, Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shiva Kumar, Nobel laureate Abhijit Banerjee, Nobel Peace Prize winner Kailash Satyarthi, director of Trump Media & Technology Group Eric Sweder, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw and several other dignitaries will address the gathering. President and CEO of the World Economic Forum Borge Brende will participate in the summit virtually. Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and Minister for IT and Industries D. Sridhar Babu will also speak at the event.

The summit will feature multiple departmental sessions from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., involving ministers, principal secretaries, and subject experts. Similar sessions will continue on December 9, starting at 9 a.m., with the valedictory ceremony scheduled for 6 p.m.
