‘Gurajada Visista Puraskaram’ presented to noted writer Kolakaluri Enoch

Justice Cheekati Manavendranath Roy of the Andhra Pradesh High Court presented the ‘Gurajada Visista Puraskaram’ to noted writer Kolakaluri Enoch at a programme organised by the Gurajada Samskrutika Samakhya in Vizianagaram on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, Justice Roy said that Gurajada Apparao’s writings such as ‘Kanyasulkam’ would continue to inspire the generations to come since the messages in his books were relevant to society forever.

Mr. Enoch said it was a great honour to receive the award. The Gurajada Samskrutika Samakhya president M. Venkateswara Rao and secretary Kapuganti Prakash said the association had been presenting the award to prominent literary personalities for the last 30 years. Vizianagaram district Collector S. Ramsundar Reddy and Superintendent of Police A.R. Damodar were among others present.
