KIMS Hospital, Hyderabad, has launched an Artificial Intelligence-powered early warning system designed to provide continuous assessment of how in-patients respond to treatment.

The platform enables round-the-clock remote monitoring of all vital patient parameters through wireless wearable devices. Any fluctuation in a patient’s condition is detected instantly and triggers real-time alerts to the clinical teams. This allows doctors to coordinate immediately with nursing staff and deliver timely interventions, as per a press release.

Bhaskar Rao, chairman and managing director of KIMS Group of Hospitals, said that the hospital has consistently adopted cutting-edge medical technologies, including augmented-reality-assisted neurosurgery, advanced imaging systems, AI-based diagnostic tools and digital platforms aimed at improving patient experience. “The new AI-enabled monitoring system allows clinicians to observe patient conditions continuously and make more informed decisions at the bedside,” he added.
