Congress leadership tussle: Who will lead Karnataka after 2025?
When his response was sought to the Opposition’s prediction that this could be the last session of Mr. Siddaramaiah as Chief Minister, he said, “The Opposition has been predicting the downfall of Mr. Siddaramaiah ever since his government completed one year. First they said that he will step down over MUDA issue and then they said he will have to step down if the Congress gets less number of seats in the Parliamentary polls (in Karnataka). The Opposition will have to continue dreaming about his resignation.”
He said that so far the high command had not asked his father to come to Delhi after the session. “But we have to wait and see in the future,” he said.
