Indian Air Force Air Marshal inspects operational readiness of Avadi Air Force station

The operational readiness of the Air Force Station at Avadi in Chennai was inspected by the Air Officer Commanding-In-Chief of the Maintenance Command of Indian Air Force, Air Marshal Vijay Kumar Garg on Saturday.

When he visited the facility, the Air Marshal was informed about the tasks of Air Force Station, Avadi, according to a press release.

After visiting the sites, sections and hangers of the depot, he spoke to the station personnel and highlighted the importance of good logistics and maintenance practices. He also appreciated the personnel for keeping high standards in maintenance, administration, logistics, and training activities, the release said.

Air Marshal Vijay Kumar Garg’s wife Ritu Garg, president of the Air Force Family Welfare Association AFFWA (Regional), got to know about different welfare activities of the AFFWA (local) in the station.
