Jana Sena Party (JSP) leader and Yelamanchili MLA Sundarapu Vijay Kumar lashed out at former Ministers’ Peni Nani and Ambati Rambabu for their outbursts against Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and other NDA coalition leaders.
Addressing the media on Thursday, Mr. Vijay Kumar said that the YSRCP leaders have not learnt from their mistakes due to which the party, which had secured 151 seats in the Assembly in 2019, was reduced to 11 seats in 2024. The party leaders continue to make baseless allegations against the ruling coalition, ignoring the fact that youth are watching their behaviour and will teach them a lesson in 2029.
The MLA said that the YSRCP leaders were unable to see the progress being made by the State. Referring to Mr. Pawan Kalyan’s statements on the ‘withering coconut trees in Konaseema’, Mr. Vijay Kumar said that the JSP president was not one who wished ill of anyone, he (Mr. Pawan Kalyan) was only pained by the loss of the ‘green coconut trees’ and he had no intention of denigrating anyone. He added that the Alliance government was only concentrating on development and welfare.
