Civil Supplies delegation from Kerala with Andhra Pradesh Minister of Civil Supplies Nadendla Manohar, in Vijayawada on Thursday.

A delegation from the Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation, led by MD Jayakrishna, met Andhra Pradesh Minister for Food and Civil Supplies Nadendla Manohar, at the Kanuru Civil Supply Bhavan in Vijayawada on Thursday.

The meeting focused on the ongoing reforms in the civil supply systems, measures to improve consumer services, and strategies for paddy procurement.

Both the sides discussed the best practices and potential collaboration between the two States to enhance efficiency and transparency in the public distribution operations.

The Andhra Pradesh team included Civil Supplies Corporation MD Delhi Rao and Director R. Govinda Rao, who participated in detailed discussions with the Kerala delegation.

Mr. Manohar emphasised the importance of knowledge-sharing and inter-State cooperation to ensure better service delivery to the citizens.

The delegation appreciated Andhra Pradesh’s initiatives in modernising procurement and distribution processes, and expressed interest in implementing similar reforms in Kerala.
