Sri Prakash Vidya Niketan on Saturday (November 08, 2025) organised Kids Day Celebrations at VUDA Children’s Arena in Visakhapatnam. The arena was decorated with an exhibition of various handmade crafts and toys created by the students of classes L.K.G to class 3.

The students made vases using plastic bottles; wall hangings crafted from cardboard; flower pots decorated with ribbons; plates adorned with groundnut shells; flowers made from paper egg trays; chocolate hair clips; clay flowers and turtle-shaped lamps; flowers made of satin sticks in bamboo basket; paper cup baskets; tissue paper flowers; hats; wall hangings made of ear buds, bangles, and pebbles; clay caterpillars; hanging planters made of coconut shells; lanterns; vegetables and fruits made of small stones and bubble sheets, coconut shells, paintbrushes, old newspapers, bulbs, glass bottles, diyas, and pista shells.

Dr. Anuradha Nidra, a renowned neurologist, Dr. E. Peda Veerraju, a well-known gastroenterologist, Mrs. Geetha Ramanujam, one of India’s most famous storytellers, and Vankayala Sanyasiraju, founder of Bhagya Sri Ram Jewellers graced the occasion as chief guests. They visited the exhibition and appreciated the creativity of the children.

The event began with a melodious “Tarang” band performance by the students of Sri Prakash. The U.K.G, Convocation ceremony was held with great enthusiasm, celebrating the young graduates’ successful completion of their kindergarten journey.

Mr. Vankayala admired the Sri Prakash band performance. Chitturi Vasu Prakash, Director of Sri Prakash Vidya Niketan, appreciated the students’ creativity, performances, and talent.
