Belagavi-based Karnataka Law Society’s Gogte Institute of Technology (KLS GIT) celebrated its ninth graduation day on Saturday.
Director, IISc, Bengaluru, Govindan Rangarajan addressed students and gave insights into non-linear dynamics and scientific innovation in the modern era.
Alumnus of the first batch (1984) of the Civil Engineering branch, an eminent industrialist, Chairman of the Ramky Group, and Rajya Sabha member, Alla Ayodhya Rami Reddy urged students to make the best use of emerging opportunities in research, entrepreneurship and industry collaboration.
Degrees and medals were conferred to over 1,220 students, including rank holders of BE, B.Arch, M.Tech, MBA and MCA programs.
The event began with a solemn procession of dignitaries. Chairman, Governing Body, Rajendra Belgaumkar welcomed the gathering and principal M.S. Patil presented the college report highlighting institutional achievements.

Members of the management committee R.B. Bhandare, D.V. Kulkarni, V.M. Deshpande and S.V. Ganachari and others were present.
