KRCL gets new director (Way & Works)

Rajeev Kumar Mishra has joined as director (Way & Works), Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd., recently.

An Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) officer of 1992 batch, Mr. Mishra was the Chief Track Engineer at Central Railway, said a release. He has studied B.E. (Civil) at IIT Roorkee, M.Tech (Building Science & Construction Management) at IIT Delhi, Masters in Financial Management (MFM) at JBIMS, Mumbai and LLB at Mumbai University.

Mr. Mishra brings with him more than 31 years of rich and varied experience in the construction, maintenance, renewal and upgradation of railway infrastructure including project management, budget control, manpower planning, inventory management and works planning and execution including those in the most challenging Mumbai suburban section, the Bhor (Khandala), and the Thal (Kasara) Ghats and several large sized new line and doubling projects.
