Collector P. Aakash has declared a local holiday for all State government offices and educational institutions in the district on Monday, December 1, 2025, in view of the Nagore Dargah Sharif Periya Kandhuri festival. However, academic examinations will be held as scheduled. December 13, 2025, will be a working day in lieu of the local holiday, he said.
