Maharashtra MP, Shiv Sena leaders barred from entering Belagavi

Ahead of the Rajyotsava celebrations on Saturday and the reported plan to carry out a black day protest by Marathi groups, Belagavi Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Roshan has issued orders prohibiting the entry of Shiva Sena leaders into the district.

The Deputy Commissioner in his order issued on Friday has prohibited the entry of these leaders under provisions of Section 163 of Bharatiya Nagarkik Suraksha Sanhita 2023.

Those who are barred from entering the borders of Belagavi district are Member of Parliament from Hatkanangale Lok Sabha Constituency (Maharashtra) Dhairyasheel Mane, president of Kolhapur district unit Shiv Sena (Uddhav Faction) Vijaya Sahmrao Devane, vice-president Sanjay Poowar, district unit chief Sunil Shintre and Kolhapur city unit chief Sunil Modi and other Shiv Sena activists and supporters.
