Man arrested for making hoax bomb threat call to Maduravoyal police station

A 43-year-old man was arrested for making a hoax bomb threat call to the Maduravoyal police station on Sunday. 

City Police said that a man person called the Control Room of the West Zone Police and claimed to have placed a bomb on the Maduravoyal police station premises. Police conducted an intensive search with sniffer dogs and later found it to be a hoax.

They traced the man through his mobile number and identified him as Bhupathi, a resident of Koyambedu.

During investigation the police found Bhupathi was earlier arrested for making a similar bomb hoax threat call in October this year.
