A 38 year-old-man was bludgeoned to death at Thiruvidaicode in Kanniyakumari district.
According to police, the deceased has been identified as K. Krishnadas, 38, from Brammapuram, working as truck driver. Eraniel police reportedly received information on Friday morning that a man had been found dead at an open land in Thiruvidaicode.
“Krishnadas’s body had multiple small cuts and his head appeared to have bludgeoned with a heavy stone,” said a police official.
His body was recovered and sent for post mortem at Kanniyakumari Government Medical College and Hospital in Asaripallam.
The Eraniel police have registered a murder case.
