A 24-year-old man died on Sunday after being stabbed by his brother during a quarrel in T. Nagar.
The incident occurred on Saturday night when the victim, identified as Saran, and his brother Dinakaran were consuming liquor near their house. An argument broke out between the two, during which Mr. Dinakaran stabbed Mr. Saran with a kitchen knife. Mr. Saran was taken to the Government Kilpauk Medical College Hospital in a critical condition, and died on Sunday morning.
The Pondy Bazaar police arrested Mr. Dinakaran. A probe is under way.
