Minister for Labour V. Sivankutty has convened a meeting of representatives of central trade unions to discuss matters related to the four new Labour Codes notified by the Union government recently.
The meeting will be held online at 12 noon on Thursday (November 24, 2025).
Discussions will be held with Labour Ministers of other States on the Labour Code, a statement here on Monday (November 24) said.
Mr. Sivankutty said the government was considering organising a labour conclave in the State capital in the third week of December.
Kerala on Monday again made known its areas of disagreement on the Labour Codes at a meeting of State labour officials that was convened by the Union Labour Secretary.
State Labour Special Secretary Shanavas S. informed the meeting that these would be submitted to the Union government in writing.
