A mega private sector job fair organised by the Erode district administration, the District Employment and Career Guidance Centre, and the Tamil Nadu State Rural and Urban Livelihood Mission will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Velalar College of Engineering on December 6.
Collector S. Kandasamy said in a release that Minister for Housing, Prohibition and Excise, S. Muthusamy, will take part in the event and distribute appointment orders to selected candidates.
Over 200 leading private sector companies from Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Salem, and Chennai districts are expected to participate and recruit candidates for more than 10,000 vacancies. Candidates selected through the job fair will not lose their Employment Exchange registration number.
