Mega PTM to be held on December 5 in ASR district, says Collector

Alluri Sitharama Raju (ASR) District Collector S. Dinesh Kumar on Saturday (November 29, 2025) announced that a Mega Parent–Teacher Meet (PTM) will be organised across all government primary schools, secondary schools, and junior colleges in the district from 9 a.m. on December 5. From the 2,945 government schools and junior colleges in the district, around 1.8 lakh students and about 1.2 lakh parents are expected to participate in the event, he said.

Addressing the media, Mr. Dinesh Kumar said that during the meet, performance of the students in the formative and summative assessments, along with their academic progress will be explained to the parents. Information regarding the functioning of schools and the performance of teachers will also be informed, he said. A felicitation programme will also be held for former students, he added.
