Minor girl found murdered – The Hindu

A 15-year-old girl, who went missing from her home, was later found murdered near her house at Veerasandra in Kaggalipura on Wednesday night.

The deceased, Kavana, went to attend nature’s call in the evening and was missing since then. When she did not return home, her family members started searching for her and later found her dead.

The Kaggalipura police rushed to the spot and shifted her body for post-mortem before initiating investigation. Probe revealed that Kavana, a high school student, was living with her parents and elder sister. She used to object to her sister’s male friend who would come home to meet her often.

The police suspected the role of the male friend, and efforts were onto secure him.
